Comet Cash is a declining balance tender – general non-restricted funds – for use on and off campus.
Add Funds
Funds are available immediately once added.
- Online via the GET Portal.
- With a credit card at the Comet Card Office.
Parents can also add funds online.
Minimum Deposit
$5 through the GET Portal or $10 at the Comet Card Office (credit card deposits only).
Balance Rollover
Balances roll over each semester.
Discounts
10% off at all campus food locations (not available if participant has a meal plan).

Meal Plan Accounts
Meal Money & Meal Swipes
Declining balance tender for food purchases only. Meal swipes for entry to Dining Hall and Meal Exchanges.
Add Funds
Funds and weekly swipes determined by chosen Meal Plan. Swipes reset weekly on Monday morning.
Balance
Removed at the end of each semester.
Accepted At
UT Dallas Dining locations and Dining Hall.
Meal exchanges at select on-campus locations.
